Former Prime Minister, Mr Paul Keating, said of one of his many adversaries “he has more front than Mark Foys”.
On that criteria, Labor’s spokesperson for the Central Coast, Mr David Harris, has more front than the length of the Gosford waterfront.
In the 2015 NSW State Election, the Liberal Party promised to move 300 Department of Finance jobs to Gosford.
Since that day, David and his mates have ridiculed and undermined the initiative.
His local Federal colleagues have used public funds to campaign against the accompanying ATO office complex and its 600 jobs being delivered by Federal Member for Robertson, Ms Lucy Wicks.
The Joint Regional Planning Panel determined the new Department of Finance building can proceed on the old Gosford school site.
On the same day, Mr Harris said on radio, without any hint of embarrassment, that he now welcomed the project and insisted the NSW Government used as much local labour and materials as possible in its construction.
News flash David.
These developments are happening in spite of you and your ALP colleagues.
The construction jobs and nearly 1,000 permanent positions moving into Gosford over the next couple of years have been delayed and risked because of Labor’s games.
So please David, save your advice for the gullible and those with short memories.
