Not doing enough for our young people

Letter to the editor

Over the past thirty or so years I have seen our country go down the tube, because of state and federal governments not doing enough for our young people or for tradesmen and women for all our industries.

TAFEs closing down, school manual arts being ignored, school home duties being stopped. I wonder where we are going as a nation. The only way forward is to restore our education to the top of the world. This must be done by the national and state governments to rethink and get this nation back on track. The political parties are out of touch with the majority of the voting citizens.

The Prime Minister has said “we need innovation, so let’s get going.” It is up you PM and your government to do this or we fail our children and grandchildren forever.
