McKinna seeks re-election “to finish the job”

Lawrie McKinna has confirmed he will seek to be re-elected as Gosford mayor for another year when councillors vote on Monday, September 28.

“I am putting my hand up so hopefully I will get the gig,” Cr McKinna said. “No one else is running that I know of, but a lot of things can change at the last minute in mayoral elections,” he said. Cr McKinna said he is determined to see through work that he has started in his fi rst three years in the job. “I think council in general has achieved a lot in the last few years and I think in the next year there will be cranes going up in the city and you will start to see the revitalisation of Gosford,” he said.
