A year six debating team from Point Clare Public School won its first debate in the Premier’s Debating Challenge.
Somersby Public School were worthy opponents, according to debating coordinator, Ms Judy Wilson. “Point Clare, the negative side, had the winning arguments on the topic ‘that year five and older should be allowed to have social media accounts such as facebook and twitter,” Ms Wilson said.
