Green Point students experience harsh conditions

A group of year 11 Personal Development Health and Physical Education (PDHPE) students from Green Point Christian College headed off to Kangaroo Valley on a canoeing trip in June.

“The great thing about this time is that it builds relationships in harsh conditions among all that are involved,” said head of secondary school, Mr Peter McLellan. “There are no flushing toilets, showers, cabins, TVs, radios, Ipods, computers, reception, phones or any other modern conveniences,” he said. “It is a time when they are challenged by their isolation from the world they are so immersed in.”
