The official opening of the Wyoming Community Garden will be held on Saturday, March 7, at the Wyoming Community Centre.
A variety of activities will be available on the day including a scarecrow competition, live music, lawn games, talks and demonstrations, a free tea party, a vintage caravan cafe and a sausage sizzle.
The organisers of the community garden are hoping to encourage people from different social and cultural backgrounds, as well as all age groups to attend on the day.
