Teen Found with Abdominal Wound

A critical incident investigation is underway after a teen was injured on Wednesday, November 26.

Around 7:20am, police were called to Kincumba Mountain Reserve after council workers became concerned about the behaviour of a teenage boy who was armed with a knife. When police arrived at the location, the youth ran from the area. He was found a short time later suffering from an abdominal wound. The teen was taken to Gosford Hospital where he was treated. An independent critical incident team from the Northern Region are investigating all circumstances surrounding the incident.
