The Gosford Raceday scheduled for Thursday, August 28, was cancelled due to poor weather and has been rescheduled for Thursday, October 9.
The reschedule was made possible by the Club’s sponsor The Primary Club, which is a charity providing sporting and recreational activities for people with disabilities. 214mm of rain fell on Gosford Racecourse during the week of the event, and racing across the state suffered a $10 million loss after eight meetings were cancelled in nine days.
