Traffic changes at Kariong Hill

A map showing the affected area

Motorists are advised of changed overnight traffic conditions on the Central Coast Hwy, between the Brisbane Water Dr Interchange at Point Clare and the West Gosford Lookout at Kariong Hill.

Transport for NSW will carry out the work, which includes installation of new guard rails and vehicle-activated signs.

Work started on Sunday, February 18, and will be carried out from 7pm-5am Sunday to Thursday for about six weeks, weather permitting.

Some day work may also be carried out from 9.30am to 2.30pm on weekdays.

A single lane closure in each direction, traffic control and a reduced speed limit of 40km/h will be in place during work hours.

During part of the works, a multi-lane closure from Racecourse Rd (Adcock Park) to Kariong Hill will be in place during work hours for the safety of workers and motorists.

Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
