CCTV Cameras being installed

New public surveillance security cameras have been installed at Terrigal

Central Coast Council has commenced the installation of five new CCTV cameras at Terrigal Haven.
Works included Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) from the bottom to the top of Terrigal Skillion to accommodate the installation of a new camera tower.
Access to the top of the Skillion was closed from Monday, September 11, to Wednesday, September 13, while the underground boring was underway.
CCTV camera poles will be installed in the first week of October with the actual cameras installed by the end of November.
The CCTV camera installation costs have been covered by a $550,000 grant under round two of the Federal Government’s Safer Streets Programme that will see the installation of 16 new CCTV cameras in Terrigal and Copacabana.
