Class divide alive and well

Letters to the editor

Is it not strange that a judge, who, I believe, never works weekends and earns thousands of dollars per week, made a ruling that low-paid workers working on a Sunday deserve a pay cut?
As the old saying goes, ‘laws are always useful to those who have possessions, and harmful to those who have nothing’.
The aim of the Coalition is to drive down wages of low-paid workers, while they themselves gorge on political perks, thanks to the generosity of the Aussie taxpayer.
