Pro tennis coach, Mr Roger Rasheed, concluded a week long coaching stint on November 18 at the International School of Tennis, based in the Gosford Tennis Centre.
Mr Rasheed has mentored some of the sports greats, including home grown hero Lleyton Hewitt, Mr Rasheed kicked off his coaching gig, known throughout the school as the Roger Rasheed Festival of Tennis, by getting to know his new athletes and prepping them for the Roger Rasheed Cup Event, through an intensive workout, similar to that used by top 10 ATP players. Question and answer sessions were a common theme throughout the Festival, with Mr Rasheed working closely with students and staff to provide strength and conditioning training, motivation and drive techniques and movement patterns.
