Emergency services were called to Avoca Dve shortly before midnight on Friday, July 18 following reports of a single car crash.
Initial investigations by police found a Holden Commodore, driven by a man believed to be aged in his 40s, that had apparently veered off the road and crashed into a power pole. The driver was the only occupant of the car and died at the scene. A crime scene was established and police continued with investigations into the cause of the accident. A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
