Five charged after Wyoming stabbing

Five people have been charged following the stabbing of a man at Wyoming Caravan Park on Tuesday, January 13.

Police were called to the caravan park at about 1:15am following reports of a group of men arguing. On arrival, police located a 37-year-old man suffering multiple stab wounds.

He was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance Paramedics before being taken to Gosford Hospital where he was in a serious but stable condition. A crime scene was established and early investigations led police to stop a vehicle, containing fi ve occupants, in nearby Dunbar Way.

Four men and one woman were arrested and taken to Gosford Police Station. Three of the men, aged 24, 30 and 31, were charged with reckless wounding and refused bail, and appeared at Gosford Local Court the following day.

One man, aged 54, and the woman, aged 51, were also charged with reckless wounding and granted conditional bail, to appear at Gosford Local Court on Tuesday, February 3.
