Avoca resident Dr Romaine Rutnam spoke at the International Conference on End of Life
(ICEL) at the Queensland University of Technology Australian Centre for Health Law Research from August 13 to 15.
Dr Rutnam’s talk, titled ‘Assisted suicide in a residential aged care facility: policy and practice’, detailed her recent experiences on the Coast as a member of Dying with Dignity NSW.
ICEL 2014 included more than 100 presentations and speakers from 19 countries.
